The registration for the first ever international winter cycling congress is now opened. The conference committee expects around 250 delegates from all over the world to participate and share the best practices and knowledge of winter cycling. The preliminary programme is also published on our web pages. The final schedule of the congress will be published shortly after the due date for call for papers is passed in mid November 2012.
The first international winter cycling congress held in 13-14th of February in the city of Oulu, Finland, opens the “call for papers”. The two day event in mid February 2013 aims to have about 20-30 oral presentations within 5 different preselected topics. These topics are as follows: 1) effects of winter cycling 2) preconditions of winter cycling 3) promotion of winter cycling 4) winter cycling gear and devices 5) other topic.
